3rd Week- Camp and Soccer

Its already the 3rd week of March, is it?? It seems to me that time is running too fast, just like when you fast-forwarded a video (*sigh)..

As for this week, I'm going to Peninsula again on Wednesday (again!) for a SUKMA Camp for the Federal Teritorries athletes (Labuan, Putrajaya & Kuala Lumpur Federal Teritorries). I'm a bit worried because I know that I need to catch up a lot in my study(this time its for two-weeks worth of classes) because of my active involvement in sports and for sure it means EXTRA efforts and works from me. (be positive, positive ~.~)

This weekend is another round of the Bola Sepak IPT Piala YB Menteri Pengajian Tinggi at UiTM Sabah's Sports Complex. I'm one of the crew on duty along with several students to assist with the event. The competing team for today (Sunday 21st) was UiTM Sabah (red jersey) vs. MasterSkills KK (blue jersey). UiTM's soccer team won the match with 5-nil at the end of the game. I hope that our team will keep up their efforts, their team works and their need-to-win spirits to grab the champion title. But big thanks and applauses goes to the team's coach and the UiTM's sports officers for their supports..

2nd Week of March

Another hectic week, I guess.. I have several test this week and not to mention my daily volleyball training at the campus' sports complex with my team mates. We have two training session in a day; dawn and evening. We went for an uphill run for stamina at 5am until 6am (our campus is strategically hilly for our training). While our evening training will start as early as 5pm until 9.30pm, which consists of stamina training (again) and to sharpen our individual skills and apply it to teams.

We were leaving on Thursday 11th to Shah Alam for the Open Tournament and back at Sabah at Monday 16th. There were five women teams and sixteen men teams competing in these two-days tournament. As for the result, we only managed to get 2nd place after losing gallantly to the UiTM Shah Alam B while our men get the 3rd place after a much exciting game with ATM team.
All of these will surely add up to my previous gained experiences.

And oh, I need to study for my coming test!

A sport consists of a normal physical activity or skill carried out under a publicly agreed set of rules, and with a recreational purpose: for competition, for self-enjoyment, to attain excellence, for the development of skill, or some combination of these. The difference of purpose is what characterizes sport, combined with the notion of individual (or team) skill or prowess. I discover being a sportswoman was very enjoy full, in this field you will have opportunity to get many benefit, e.g. you can release your stress, get many friend, most interesting is you will have opportunity to be the champs…. but to win the champs is not the objective for you to be the sportswoman, because it is how you to be the champs is more important… you must have discipline, being a positive thinker, motivated, healthy, and full of spirit…. All of this will guide you to be the champs….
